Tamworth FC are preparing for life in the Conference North but they will also have a major say in who joins them.

The Lambs travel to relegation-threatened Southport this afternoon before hosting Hereford United on Good Friday.

The Lambs also have to travel to Dartford, another struggler, on Easter Monday.

"Rest assured we will be going out and giving everything we have got," said manager Dale Belford. "We have to remain totally professional. We owe that to every team in the league.

"Personal pride should also mean that everyone in the squad wants to make sure we end the season as well as we can."

Striker Matt Godden has returned to Scunthorpe and is unavailable this weekend.

Andy Todd (shoulder), Duane Courtney (hamstring) and Michael Townsend (back) are also ruled out. Nick Chadwick is another doubt with a hamstring problem but Lloyd Kerry and Richard Peniket hope to shake off knocks.

Winger Andy Haworth, meanwhile, has left the Lambs as Tamworth begin to prepare for next season.
