I JUST wanted to take this opportunity to say goodbye to all of my lovely customers and friends that I have made whilst I have been working at Dordon Library.

It has been an absolute privilege and pleasure getting to know you all and serving the community.

Together, in Warwickshire Libraries' own words, we 'bucked the trend' across the county for our issue figures and footfall. This was in no small way due to all of the groups who have used the library.

Thank you so much for the support, fun and laughter we have had. The joy of watching all the children who have been and listened to my stories and sang songs with me are memories I will always treasure.

The children of Dordon are a delight and I have known only warmth and friendship from them. I so hope they continue to be readers and always keep the love of books and the pleasure of reading in there lives.

Thank you to all of my readers for letting me be a part of your lives and your families' lives. I will so miss hearing what's going on.

I cannot begin to say how devastated I am that something that held such promise has had to end, but I also know that the community group has worked so hard in trying to keep the library open and so much credit must go to them.

I wish them every success and much good luck. I hope they have the happiness that I have had.

Thank you again for all the support and friendship. I wish you all the very best of good health and happiness. With love and kind regards.
