As a frequent user of the bus service of the Lichfield buses I would like to question Arriva, why have you suddenly introduced this now? In the new year a new company brought in the Xpre55, this bus uses the same pathway for transportation as the Xpress 65 and the Xpress 65 have similar times to the Xpre55 expect they are five minutes earlier. Surely Arriva were aware of this bus service way before the Xpre55 was introduced however decided to do nothing. Although may be the loss of profit that Arriva have witnessed due to the Xpre55 have made them realise what they should done instead of sitting back. I do not like the feud between the two companies and they should be making the journey for customers welcoming rather than making them feel as if they have to choose between the two. Arriva should have done something sooner and now the competition between the companies have forced them to make a similar bus with a similar journey that costs the same. So what is the point?
